Songtrust, a division of Downtown Music LLC, is a digital rights management solution empowering songwriters and artists to manage their music publishing and related rights.[1] Songtrust was co-founded by Justin Kalifowitz, CEO of Downtown Music Publishing.
Overview
Songtrust streamlines what has historically been a complex process of registering and protecting song copyrights, collecting global royalties, and maximizing licensing opportunities.[2] Songtrust collects music publishing royalties worldwide for writers in the United States and Canada from performance rights organisations such as ASCAP, Broadcast Music, Inc., SESAC, SOCAN, PRS for Music, and SACEM.[3]
In June 2015 Songtrust launched the worlds first Music Publishing App.[4]
