Sonapur is a located in the outskirts(20 km) of Guwahati City Kamrup Metropolitan district in the Indian state of Assam.[1] Sonapur is situated at National Highway 37 on the river Diguru,[2] which flows into the Kalang river close to its embouchure into the Brahmaputra.
