Something with Bite is the ninth episode in the television series Fear Itself on NBC. It tells the story of a veterinarian, Wilbur Orwell, who becomes a werewolf after getting bitten by one at work. This episode was completed but not broadcast in the United States.

Synopsis

Dr. Wilbur Orwell is a fat, lazy, forgetful veterinarian coasting through life when a weird beast hit by a car is brought in. After Wilbur finds a set of dog tags with the name Michael, the beast bites him and dies. He feels ill the first night, but the next day feels invigorated and experiences heightened senses. Crane and Moonflower Dougdale come in to claim the body, almost calling Michael their son, but Wilbur figures out the connection and his own transformation into a werewolf after the death of a lazy employee named Geoff that he suspects he caused.

A police detective confronts him about Geoff's death; Wilbur then visits the Dougdales and learns that he wouldn't do anything in wolf form that he wouldn't do as a man. Crane puts it, "If you are a good man, then you are a good dog." The couple denies being behind the attacks, but says there are other werewolves out there. Wilbur's assistant Mikayla is attacked, but survives. Wilbur finds a werewolf-obsessed man named Forest J Caldwell, who admits to using a werewolf costume to commit the killings to attract a real werewolf to bite him and turn him into one. When he comments about hurting Mikayla, Wilbur rips him apart. The story ends with the Dougdales, Mikayla, and the Orwells sitting down to a meatless turkey. Wilbur says he wants to share everything with his wife Patty and bites her playfully.
