SomeOne is a brand consultancy based in London, specialising in brand strategy, visual identity design, writing, naming, brand implementation and guardianship programs. The company currently employs 40 staff members ranging from designers, brand strategists and project managers.

History

SomeOne was founded in London, in 2005 by Simon Manchipp, David Law, Gary Holt & Laura Hussey.

Before founding SomeOne, Simon Manchipp was a partner at HHCL, Gary Holt was the ECD of Lambie Nairn[1] and David Law was creative director at ColeyPorterBell.[2] In the same year, the company moved into its Shoreditch studio, and in 2010 moved 12 doors down to number 67 Leonard Street.

Notable Events

Based on the companies creative output since launch in 2005, SomeOne was listed in The Drum as the most influential design agency in the UK.[3] In 2013. This followed a particularly high profile year for the company after it had rebranded The National Maritime Museum, The Queen's House and Peter Harrison Planetarium in London’s Greenwich to Royal Museums Greenwich as well as being the creators of London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Olympic Games Pictograms

In The Drum’s 2015 Design Census[4] SomeOne was listed in the top 10 Elite Agencies in the UK[5] Rated as 8th overall within the second largest company size category (20-39 staff).[6] based on financial performance, client satisfaction and peer recommendation.

The 2015 Design Week Top 100 rated SomeOne as the 8th most successful branding agency in the UK with reported fee income of £3.4m.
