The Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is a casino, hotel and entertainment venue owned and operated by the federally recognized Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Nation, located just outside Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
The casino offers a typical selection of pit and table games such as blackjack, roulette, craps, 3 card poker and Let It Ride, with betting limits ranging from $5–$1000. In addition to slot machines in the main casino, an additional gaming hall called the "Slot Palace" is located across the street and offers Bingo, Keno, and additional slot machines.
Soaring Eagle also features an 18-table poker room, open 24 hours a day, which spreads popular games such as Texas Hold'em, 7 Card Stud, and Omaha Hi-Lo, with limits ranging from $3/$6 to $10/$20 for limit poker and $1/$2 for no limit poker. The poker room also introduced a bad beat jackpot. Texas Hold 'Em tournaments run weekly, ranging from $0 to $150 entry fee.
The legal age to gamble in the casino is 18 years old. The drinking age is 21 and is strictly enforced. The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe lowered the entry age limit so that younger people could enter and watch the concerts and shows that are held throughout the year. In addition, the resort's proximity to the large college-age population at the university and community college attracts new visitors. The casino also offers a pool with an underwater sound system, a full service spa, a arcade for children called Cyber Quest, and a daycare center.
Soaring Eagle's 3,200-seat concert hall is the sixth-largest auditorium in Michigan. Many acts it attracts have also played in three of the largest auditoriums in the state: the Fox Theatre in Detroit, MSU Auditorium at Michigan State University in East Lansing, and Miller Auditorium in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
