"So Simple" is the second single and track one of Stacie Orrico's third studio album Beautiful Awakening. It was produced by Dwayne Bastiany.

Song information

"So Simple", musically continues the direction set by the album's first single "I'm Not Missing You", by having a R&B/Pop vibe to it. This is illustrated by the lyrics present in both the pre-hook of the song and the chorus below.

The single was released on January 26, 2007 in Europe and Australia at around the same time. It was already released in Southeast Asia in October 2006.

Music video

The video for "So Simple" has been directed by Ray Kay, who has directed videos for the likes of Nick Lachey, Destiny's Child and Melanie C. The video was shot in Calabasas, California between the 8th and 9th of September 2006.[1]

The director of the video, Ray Kay premiered "So Simple" online towards the end of October 2006 on YouTube.[2]
