Smallwood State Park is a state-owned, public recreation area at Sweden Point on Mattawoman Creek near Marbury, Charles County, Maryland. The state park features a restored plantation home, Smallwood's Retreat, home of General William Smallwood. The park's recreational offerings include a marina, boat ramps, nature center, picnicking area, campsites and cabins, pavilions, a recycled tire playground, and nature trails.[3]
