Sleeper, Missouri
Sleeper is an unincorporated community in Laclede County, Missouri, United States.[1] From an LA Times article, At the general store in Sleeper, Mo., proprietor Norma Alloway, 72, said the town got its name from "a Pennsylvanian named John Sleeper who built a railroad through here in the 1860s." It is located about one mile north of Interstate 44 on Missouri Supplemental Route F, or about five miles northeast of Lebanon. Several homes and a fire station are located here.[2]
