Robert Emmet's GAC Slaughtneil (Irish: CLG Roibeard Éiméid Sleacht Néill) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the townland of Slaughtneil, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The club is a member of the Derry GAA and currently cater for Gaelic football, Hurling and Camogie. The club is named after Irish patriot and revolutionary Robert Emmet and play their home games at Emmet Park.

The club famously pulled its football and hurling teams out of the 1981 Derry Football Championship and Derry Hurling Championship to show their support and solidarity with the 1981 Irish Hunger Strikers.

Slaughtneil have won the Derry Senior Football Championship twice and the Derry Senior Hurling Championship six times. Underage teams up to U-12's play in South Derry league and championships, from U-14 upwards teams compete in All-Derry competitions. Slaughtneil won Club of the Year at the 2000 Ulster GAA Writer's Association Awards.[1] On 30 November 2014 Slaughtneil were crowned Ulster Club Champions beating Omagh St Enda's by one point on a score line of 1-10 to 1-9. Slaughtneil won their second title and first Ulster Club title.

Gaelic football

Slaughtneil fields Gaelic football teams at U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, Minor, Reserve, Thirds and Senior levels. They won their first Senior County Championship in 2004, defeating Bellaghy at Watty Graham Park, Maghera. Slaughtneil won their second Derry title in 2014. On 30 November 2014 Slaughtneil beat Omagh St Enda's to claim their first Ulster Club Championship.

Slaughtneil has U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, Minor, Reserve, and Senior levels hurling teams. They've won the Senior County Championship on eight occasions, the most recent being in 2014.

Camogie

Slaughtneil fields Camogie teams at u6 u10 U12, U14, U16 Minor, and Senior levels. Slaughtneil won the Senior Camogie Championship in 2012 and 2015 along with the Derry League in both years. In 2014 and 2015 they added the Ulster Leagues to their success.
