The Siri Remote is a remote control device released in or after October 2015 by Apple Inc. for use with a number of its products which use bluetooth capabilities. The device is a successor of the original Apple Remote.
Compatibility
Any Mac with Bluetooth 4.0 and OSX 10.11 can download the application "Sirimote" that will allow the Siri Remote to control parts of the OS & some applications.[2]
