Sinandigan
Sinandigan is one of the 44 barangays of the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines.
The barangay's total land area is 607 hectares (1,500 acres).[3] According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 1,874. In the 2013 election, it had 1,173 registered voters, meaning that 63% of the population are aged 18 and over.[2]
Sinandigan celebrates its annual fiesta on 8 December in honor of their patron saint.
Location
Located on the eastern part of the municipality, Sinandigan overlooks Bohol Sea to the east. It is bounded to the north by Union, to the south by Benliw and to the west by Imelda. It is 10 km (6.2 mi) from the town center, Poblacion.
History
Formerly Sinandigan was a sitio of barangay Tapal before becoming a separate barangay. The name Sinandigan comes from the Visayan word sandig which means to lean or to recline.

There are seven puroks overseen by the elected kagawads.
