Sinan "Siki" Sakić (Serbian Cyrillic: Синан Сакић; born 13 October 1956) is a Serbian pop-folk singer. As of 2006, he has released 27 music albums. He was very popular in former Yugoslavia.

Musical career

He launched his career back in 1978 with the singles "Rastanak kraj reke" and "Sreli smo se mnogo kasno".

In the 1980s, he was a member of the popular Južni Vetar, which also included Dragana Mirković, Mile Kitić, Šemsa Suljaković and Kemal Malovčić.[1]

Personal life

Sinan Sakić, nicknamed "Siki", is of Romani descent. He gained his first musical experience from his father who was a musician in the military orchestra.

He is married to Sabina; they married on 29 June 1981.[2] He visited guru Sathya Sai Baba in India every year since 1996.[3] He has the sons: Alen, Medo, and Rašid. Medo Sakić is also a singer.[4] Rašid is currently imprisoned for murder charges.[5]
