SimpliVity is an American information technology company based in Westborough, Massachusetts.[2]

History

SimpliVity was founded in 2009 by Doron Kempel. Their first product, OmniCube, was launched in August 2012.[3]

Investment

SimpliVity has raised $276M in venture funding.[4] The company received $18M in Series A funding led by Accel Partners and Charles River Ventures.[5] The Series C round in November 2013 generated $58M and was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.[6] The Series D round in March 2015 was led by Waypoint Capital[7] with Accel Partners, DFJ Growth, CRV, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Growth and Meritech Capital Partners also participating and raised another $175M.[8]
