Sierra del Cuera

The Protected Landscape of Sierra del Cuera , is an integrated network of protected areas in Asturias, covering a large area of the eastern area of Asturias with forests, valleys, slopes, peaks ... .that landscape stretch over a field that affects five municipalities of the region: Cabrales, Llanes, Peñamellera Alta and Peñamellera Baja Ribadedeva . It could be defined as a coastal ridge about 40 kilometers long that begins at the Sella River and is spreading near the sea into the river Deva . The figure of protection Protected Landscape is excluded the western part of the mountain, that is, the surface between the Bedón river and Sella.[1]
