Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP is a New York City-based securities law firm formed in 1998 by Gregory Sichenzia, Marc Ross, and Richard Friedman, and was joined one year later by Michael Ference. In 2015, the firm opened an office located in both Israel[1] and Budapest, Hungary.[2] The firm provides representation in matters involving the securities industry, as well as general corporate, litigation and arbitration counsel. The firm’s areas of expertise include corporate and commercial transactions: private investment in public equity (PIPE) transactions, initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary public offerings, alternative offerings, reverse mergers, acquisitions, securities litigation and arbitration, administrative practice before regulatory agencies, and broker-dealer regulation.

Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference has established itself as an IPO law firm, coordinating efforts for companies in various industries including technology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, clean technology, consumer, digital, finance, and more.[3]

In 2014, Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference was ranked the number one most active issuer counsel in the U.S. PIPES market, according to PlacementTracker, a source for data and analysis to institutions in the U.S. PIPES market.[4][5] In 2015, the firm was named among the Top 30 Law Firms by number of SEC Transactions,[6] as well as the #1 PIPEs Issuer Counsel Ranking for Q3 2015.[7]

In 2014, eight lawyers from the firm, including founding Partner Michael H. Ference were named "Super Lawyers" and “Rising Stars” by SuperLawyers, a rating service of lawyers in over 70 practice areas.[8] In January 2015, Andrea Cataneo, Partner at Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference, was named to the board of the National Investment Banking Association, a prominent national trade association.[9]
