Shiraia is a genus of fungi in the Pleosporales order. It is monotypic, containing only the type species Shiraia bambusicola.[1][2] Although the familial placement is somewhat uncertain, molecular phylogenetic evidence based on the sequences of ribosomal DNA supports its positioning in the Phaeosphaeriaceae.[3]
