Shin Yoon-jo (Korean: 신윤조; born December 14, 1992) is a South Korean singer and dancer. Hailing from Pledis Entertainment, she is best known for having been a Lead Vocalist of the six-member South Korean girl group, Hello Venus. Since the split between Fantagio and Pledis Entertainment, the two labels that comprised the group's management, Yoonjo has been withdrawn from the group along with label-mate Yoo Ara.[1]

Shin was born on December 14, 1992, in Seoul, South Korea. She attended Seoul Arts High School.[2]

Career

Hello Venus

In May 9, 2012, Shin made her debut as a member of Hello Venus. She was featured in After School's song "Dream" for their album Virgin,[3][4]

On January 27, Hello Venus finished promoting "What Are You Doing Today?" and on January 30 they started promoting the follow-up song "Romantic Love".[5]

Tricell Media, whom the girls had been formed under as a joint project between Pledis Entertainment and Fantagio, have announced that the members will be returning to their respective agencies. Thus, the four members under Fantagio will go on as Hello Venus, while the other two who are originally under Pledis (Yoo Ara and Yoon-jo) will be pursuing separate activities.[6]
