Ahmed bin Muhammed Al Thani
Sheikh Ahmad bin Muhammad Al-Thani (1853-1905) was the Governor of Doha and head of the Ahmed bin Muhammed Al Thani branch of the House of Thani, the ruling family of Qatar
On the death of his cousin Ali Bin Jassim, he become the commander leader of Qatar clans coalitions against the Egyptians Midhat Pasha army.
He became chief of the Al Thani Family on the resignation of his brother Qassim in 1900.
He was killed by his servant at Doha in December 1905.[1]
