Shegunashi is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Athani taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Shegunashi had a population of 5793 with 2959 males and 2834 females.[1] One of very nice & Calm villages in Athani taluk. Famous for its sugar cane farming .Its one of the villages which is affected every year by Krishna river flood.Due to which many have now moved or migrated to new locations.

In village having some temples in this popular as Shree Mallikarjun Temple in Tammadaddi road, Shree Murughendra Swamiji Virakta Math, Shree Jadda Shiddharoodha Math, Shree Renuka temple.
Every year Yalla amavasya in that day having Renuka temple festive and Akshadata amavasya in that day having Shree Murughendra Swamiji Math festive.
