Sheffield Hallam by-election, 1928

The Sheffield Hallam by-election of 1928 was held on 16 July 1928. The by-election was held due to the appointed governor of bombay of the incumbent Conservative MP, Frederick Sykes. It was won by the Conservative candidate Louis William Smith.[1]
