Shariq Us Sabah (born November 2, 1993) is an Indian author, and poet primarily writing mainstream romance and best known for his debut book The Subdued Sound published by the Rochak Publishers. He released his second poetry book Manifesto Of A Lover in 2014, published by Cyberwit Publishers.

Biography

Shariq is the only son to his parents and was born and raised in New Delhi. A student of Delhi Public School, Noida, Shariq moved to Symbiosis School of Economics to pursue under graduation studies. He is Mastering in Economics and is expected to graduate in 2017.

Works

While at "Symbiosis School Of Economics" , Shariq started working on his debut book and eventually published it in 2013. The book was titled "The Subdued Sound" which was soon declared as a bestseller.[1]

Shariq's second book titled "Manifesto Of a Lover", was released on the 24th of March, 2014.[2]

Books

The Subdued Sound is an emotive collection of heartbreakingly honest love poems that gracefully weaves a journey of disruptive love, the beautiful pain of love and how it feels to be in love. The poems in this collection is emotional, cynical and talk about the authentic love life.[3]

Manifesto of a lover is a lyrical account that describes three stages of speaker's love life. The stages have been classified as "Then", "Sooner" and "Now". Initially, the speaker is happy and praises his life, as it is full of love and wisdom. Sooner, he tastes unnatural failure in his love life. In the final stage, the lover loses all hopes to get back to his love and so wishes to quit life. Poems have been classified as a timeline of speaker's life. It covers speaker's life from the time he falls into love till the time he finally dies.[4]
