Shamrock Rovers Hoops were an Irish basketball club that competed in the Superleague. They were based in Tallaght, on Dublin's Southside, and played their home games at the National Basketball Arena. Hoops were affiliated with Shamrock Rovers F.C., a soccer club who also play in Tallaght.
Originally known as Denny Notre Dame, the club won four consecutive National Cup titles between 1997 and 2000.[1] The club became known as Shamrock Rovers Hoops in 2004 and competed in the Superleague until 2010 when they withdrew from the 2010–11 season due to financial constraints.[2] The club continued to play in the Division I league in 2010–11 but folded completely following the season.
