Shamokin!!! is the first real album put out by Mostly Other People Do the Killing. The quartet is led by bassist Moppa Elliot who put out a record entitled Mostly Other People Do the Killing in 2005, which joined all the personnel that went on to form the band. The album is mostly original songs with Lover and A Night in Tunisia the only covers.
