Shakhi
Shakhi is a clan of Pashtoons residing in the north part of Kulachi city, Pakistan. Shakhis live in Mohallah Shakhi inside Shakhi Gate.Shakhi Gate is of one of six gates of Kulachi city,located at the northern side of the city.It was named after Shakhi tribe residing inside the Shakhi Gate.Shakhis are basically considered as brothers of Gandapur tribe. and Shakhis are basically syeds and belongs to (Arabic: سلمان الفارسي) (Salman al-Farsi)
Salman the Persian (Arabic: سلمان الفارسي) (Salman al-Farsi), born Rōzbeh (Persian: روزبه), was one of the most loyal companions of Prophet Muhammad. In addition, Salman was the first Persian convert to Islam. During some of his later meetings with the other Sahabah, he was referred to as Abu Abdullah ("Father of Abdullah"). According to some traditions, he was appointed as the governor of Mada'in in Iraq. According to popular Islamic tradition, Muhammad considered Salman as part of his household (Ahl al-Bayt).
Syed Muhammad Gaisu Daraaz The complete real name of Daraaz was Siekh Syed Abdul Fatah Sadruddin Dehlvi. He is also known as Khuwaja Banda Nawaz Gaisu Daraaz. Daraaz was a descendant of Sher-e-Khuda, Baab-ul-Ilm Syed o Sardar Ali Ibne Abi Talib Al Murtaza. His forefathers came to Delhi from Hiraat and settled down in India. He was born on 4th of the Rajab 721 hijri (1342) at Delhi. When he was 10 years old, his father died and his maternal grandfather looked after him. He is regarded as a great saint of Silsila-e-Chishtiya. Under the guidance of Hazrat Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi he engaged himself in prayers and meditation and so much enjoyed them that lie forbade studies and requested his teacher to allow him to do so. Hazrat Nasiruddin strictly denied him permission and instructed him to study with attention Usool-e-Bizoori, Risals Shamsia, Kashaf, Misbah so he restarted the studies under the guidance of renowned teachers. Maulana Syed Sheriffuddin Kaithli, Maulana Taj Uddin Muqaddam and Maulana Qazi Abdul Muqtadir and qualified for the degree at the age of nineteen. One day he with other disciples lifted the palanquin bearing Hazrat Nasir Uddin. His long hair stuck into the foot of the palki and pained him severely but he did not disentangle them for love and respect to the teacher. When Hazrat Nasiruddin learnt of the episode, he was overjoyed and recited the Persian couplet; Har ki mureedae Syed Gaisoo Daraz shud; Wallah khilaf nest ki Uoo ishq baaz shud Translation: Syed Gaisoo-Draaz has pledged his obedience; There is nothing wrong in it because he has deeply fallen in love." After this incidence he was entitled Gaisu Daraaz. He married a Pukhtoon Kaker women "Sher bano" and had sons Mashwani,Khosti of zhob and stouryani(USTRANA,GANDAPUR,SHAKHI, WARDAK,).Which now reside in Kandahar (Afghanistan) and Kulachi (Dera Ismail Khan) Khyber Pakhtoon Khuwa, Pakistan.
