Shailendra Pandey

Shailendra Pandey (शैलेन्द्र पाण्डेय) (born July 7, 1977) is an Indian film producer- director, writer and photojournalist. He studied in Lucknow University.

Early life

Pandey was born in Bighapur, Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, India. He did his schooling in Ramnath Inter college, Rujhai, Unnao. After that he shifted to Lucknow for graduation. After graduating in 1995 he qualified CDS written examination 2 times but was unable to clear SSB. In between he started working for newspapers, latter photo journalism became his main profession.

In 1997 Pandey started freelance photojournalism and in June 1999 joined Hindi daily Newspaper "Kuber Times" as a full-time job in Lucknow. Latter he worked for Dainik Jagaran, Amar Ujala, PTI, Tehelka.[1] In 2013 he joined Rajasthan Patrika as a National Photo Editor. He won the first Ramnath Goenka Picture of the Year in 2004.[2]

Film

In 2014 Pandey started film production house "Shailendra Pandey Films"[3][4] and announced his first Bollywood film project JD. [5] [6]

Retired Judge, Justice PD Kode,[7][8] Politition Amar Singh,[9] Advocate Rameshwar Gite,[10] TV Anchor Tanu Sharma, Editors Sharat Pradhan, Subhash Sirke, Ratanmani Lal, Sunanda Dikshit etc. real life high profile people are playing their real life role in film.

Bollywood actors Govind Namdev, Aman Verma, Vedita Pratap Singh, Lalit Bisht, Amit Pathak, Rina Charaniya, Surya Mohan Kulshrestha,[11] Satyamvada Singh, Mastar Shwetank are also working in this Hindi feature film "JD".

CID Fame actress Jasveer Kaur is performing an Item number [12] in Film "JD"

In March 2015 he completed shooting of film and film is scheduled for release on March 11th, 2016.
