Shadow Company: Left for Dead is a PC Real-time tactics in 3D environment, in which the player can hire and take control of multiple mercenaries. It was published by Ubisoft. You begin the game with only a three-man squad, left for dead after an operation in Angola for a company called "Granite". You must first complete your original assignment with limited troops and equipment and then escape to a safe extraction point before the game's main missions begin. mercenaries can use different weapons and acquire equipment from a defeated enemies.

Plot

A feared and well equipped private military company named Granite is hired by a client claiming to be the government of a small central African country. They are tasked with the mission to recover an important petroleum refining facility, which has been seized by rebels working in conjunction with foreign mercenaries belonging to the mysterious company Tetsu Yama. However, when the team sent by Granite hits the facility, they are met with unexpectedly powerful opposition and are almost entirely decimated. The remnants of the team ask to be extracted, but instead they receive a message communicating their unit has been "defunded" and all knowledge of their presence denied. Betrayed and trapped in Africa, the remaining troops decide to unite and find a way out of their situation, calling themselves the Shadow Company.
