Selaginella willdenowii is a species of spikemoss known by the common names Willdenow's spikemoss[1][2] and peacock fern,[3] due to its iridescent blue leaves.[4][5] It is not a true fern.
Selaginella willdenowii is sometimes listed as Selaginella willdenovii.[6] It is sold as an aquatic plant at chain pet stores in the US under the name "peacock fern" though the name is misspelled on the packaging as Selaginella wildenowii.
