The Segunda Division de Honduras 2002–03 was an association football competition.
Changes to game
Changes took place within as the Segunda División was renamed Liga de Ascenso de Honduras.
- All former reserve teams were forced to change names and loosen ties with former clubs.
- The following name changes and relocations took place:
- Motagua Reservas were renamed Aguilas del Motagua
- Olimpia Reservas were renamed Olimpia Club
- Real España Reservas were renamed Real Choloma
- Victoria Leyde (reserves of Victoria) were renamed Real Mallorca
- Comayagua were renamed Hispano
- Tulín were renamed Juticalpa Tulín
- Universidad Reservas were renamed Pumas de Universidad
- Marathón Reservas were renamed América Marathón and were relocated from San Pedro Sula to San Juan Pueblo de Tela
- Buenos Aires (Danlí) were renamed Super Estrella
- Platense Pumas (reserves of Platense) ceded their place to Atlético Municipal (Santa Cruz de Yojoa)
