7th Government of Ireland

The 7th Government of Ireland (2 June 1954 20 March 1957) or more commonly the Second Inter-Party Government is the name given to the government which led Ireland from 1954 to 1957.[1] The coalition consisted of Fine Gael, the Labour Party and Clann na Talmhan. Yet again a dislike of Fianna Fáil overcame all other problems in forming a government. This is the earliest Irish cabinet to have one of its members, specifically Liam Cosgrave, still living.
