Scott Hargrove
Scott Hargrove (born February 1, 1995) is a Canadian racing driver from Surrey, British Columbia.
Hargrove began karting in 2008 and after winning several championships in Canada and on the west coast of the United States, raced in the Skip Barber Racing School summer series in 2011, winning the championship. In 2012, he moved to the U.S. F2000 National Championship driving for JDC Motorsports. Hargrove finished sixth in the 2012 U.S. F2000 Winterfest and then 11th in the 2012 U.S. F2000 National Championship with one third-place finish in each as his best result. In 2013, he switched teams to Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing, Hargrove finished second in the Winterfest and then won the 2013 series championship, capturing four wins.[1] He beat his teammate Neil Alberico, who had six wins, by 17 points. Hargrove only failed to finish a single race, the final one of the season. With his championship Hargrove wins a $383,000 USD scholarship to compete in the Pro Mazda Championship in 2014 through the Road to Indy program.[1]
Hargrove was also selected to represent Canada at the 2013 Formula Ford Festival in England through the Team Canada Scholarship.[2]
In 2014, Hargrove won the Platinum Cup Championship in the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada. In 2015, he followed up his previous season with third in the championship, after missing the first event, winning all but one of the remaining races in the championship.
