Scott Christian Higher Secondary School

Scott Christian Higher Secondary School was started in 1819. It is located in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded by an English missionary. It is named after Septimus Scott who gave generously to build this school. This school was started by Mr Ringle Taube a German missionary from London The school is one of the oldest school in early Travancore state.It has produced many scientists, industrialists, educators and other notables. The school has grown to an enrollment of nearly 1000 students.

The school timing

School is open on week days from Monday to Friday. The timings are, as follows:

Start - 09:00 a.m.
Dismissal - 04:30.p.m |}

And Special Classes for 10th and 12th Students on Saturdays and Morning 1 hour and evening 1 hour on all Week days. Apart from these standard timings, many extracurricular activities are held after school. (e.g. inter-class football, cricket, Hockey etc.).
