Schley, Indiana

Schley is an unincorporated community in Spencer County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[1]

History

A post office was established at Schley in 1899, and remained in operation until 1905.[2] The community was probably named after Winfield Scott Schley (1839–1911), an admiral in the Spanish–American War.[3]
