Sarangesa astrigera, the White-speckled Elfin, is a butterfly in the Hesperiidae family. It is mostly found in Uganda, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo (Shaba), Zambia, Malawi and northern Zimbabwe.[2] The habitat consists of Brachystegia woodland.
Adults are on wing year round. There are distinct seasonal forms.
