Sant Genís de Bellera
San Genís de Bellera is a ruined Benedictine monastery in Senterada, Pallars Jussà, Catalonia, Spain. The rectangular building with single nave contained a semicircular apse.
History
It was founded by abbot Vulgarà the mid-9th century. The monastery was protected by donations from the counts of Pallars, despite which in the 11th-12th centuries, it began to decline. It fell under the monastery of Santa Maria de Lavaix in the 1112, when it was canonical. Documentation notes it was a parish church in 1314.
