Sant'Anna Arresi (Arresi in the Sardinian language) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Carbonia-Iglesias in the Italian region of Sardinia, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest of Cagliari and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southeast of Carbonia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,629 and an area of 36.7 square kilometres (14.2 sq mi).[1]

The municipality of Sant'Anna Arresi contains the frazione (subdivision) Porto Pino, Is Pillonis. Porto Pino has a spotless beach that stretches for almost 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) with dunes that can reach as high as 29 metres (95 ft). As its name suggests, the importance of this area from a naturalistic point of view comes from the presence of the Aleppo pine, which is present in a dense wood of about 90 hectares (220 acres). As well as the pines, squat and Phoenician juniper can be found all around. The rare kermes oak which in its bushy state is found only in very few places on the island increases the botanic interest of Porto Pino. The wetland at the back of the beach is known mainly for its ornithology, many species of birds can be found, among which are cormorants, green cormorants and shags.

Ai Confini tra Sardegna e Jazz is an international music festival now in its 23rd year. Some of the world's leading jazz musicians take part (in the first week of August/first week of September).

Sant'Anna Arresi borders the following municipalities: Masainas, Teulada.
