Sanam Jung is a Pakistani actress, model and VJ, who appears in Pakistani serials. After a brief career as a VJ on AAG TV, She made her acting debut with a leading role in the 2013 Hum TV serial Dil e Muztar, which earned her Hum Award for Best Television Sensation Female. She subsequently featured in the critically and commercially successful series Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai (2013), Mere Humdum Mere Dost (2014), and Alvida (2015).
In addition to these, Jung is currently hosting Hum TV's morning show Jago Pakistan Jago.
Personal life
Sanum was married in January 2016 to a flight instructor, Syed Abdul Qassam Jafri whom she was dating since 2012.[2][3]
Career
Jung started her career with Play TV being Host from August 2008 from May 2010. From May 2010 to April 2012 she worked with GEO television network. At Geo she worked as a VJ on AAG TV. She has appeared in commercials and also work as a model.[4]
She made her acting debut with Dil e Muztar on Hum TV opposite Imran Abbas Naqvi, Sarwat Gilani, Aijaz Aslam, and Saba Hameed.[5] She was also the host of the show Utho Jago Pakistan with Ahsan Khan for 21 days due to Iddat of Shaista Lodhi.[6] She appeared in the telefilm Dulha Mein Le Ke Jaungi on ARY Digital. She hosts the morning show Jago Pakistan Jago on Hum TV.
