Samoan general election, 1948

General elections were held in Samoa on 3 April 1948, the first to the new Legislative Assembly. The Assembly consisted of 12 Samoans (all of whom were Matai) elected by the Fono of Faipule, and five Europeans, elected by European voters.[1]
