Samishii Nettaigyo (淋しい熱帯魚 lit. "Lonely Tropical Fish") is Wink's fifth single. Released on July 5, 1989, with a CD catalog number H10R-31001, and cassette tape catalog number X09R-3001, the single reached #1 on the Oricon weekly charts. The song won the grand prix award at the 31st Japan Record Awards.

A cover of this song was done by W (Double You) on their debut album Duo U&U; another cover was also done by Nana Katase, on her "Extended" Album.

Other performances

In 2004, Wink's classic hit "Samishii Nettaigyo" was covered by W (Double You) on their debut album Duo U&U. In 2005, "Samishii Nettaigyo" was performed by ex-Morning Musume member Kaori Iida and Ruca at Flet's (フレッツ) Casual Dinner Show.
