Samodreža
Church ruins
Samodreža (Serbian Cyrillic: Самодрежа) or Samadrexha (in Albanian), is a village in the Vučitrn municipality in Kosovo. It is inhabited by a majority of ethnic Albanians, of Muslim faith. The local Serbian Orthodox church has been used as a dumping ground and public toilet.[1] According to Serbian myth, the church was used as a praying place for Prince Lazar of Serbia and his knights before the Battle of Kosovo (1389).[2]
