Senator Saleem H. Mandviwalla (born 25 January 1959) was the Chairman of the Board of Investment[1] and Minister of State for Investment[2] of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a position he held from October 2008 till May 2013. Prior to his appointment, he was the President of the Lasbela Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Lasbela, Balochistan. He was appointed Minister of Finance on 19 February 2013 till 7 June 2013.[3] Saleem Mandviwalla was unanimously elected as chairperson for Senate’s Standing Committee on Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization [4]

Saleem Mandviwalla graduated from Fort Worth School of Aviation in Fort Worth, Texas in 1981.
Business career
Mr. Saleem H. Mandviwalla comes from a well known business family. The family has been engaged in the real estate business in Karachi and other cities of Pakistan since 1921. The family expanded their line of business in different trades locally and internationally and own businesses in manufacturing, media and automotive sectors.
