  • A^ A new recording of "Kiss and Make Up" was included on US editions of Foxbase Alpha. "Speedwell" and "Filthy" do not appear on the album.
  • B^ "Only Love Can Break Your Heart"/"Filthy" additionally charted in the US at #11 on the Modern Rock Chart.[8]
  • C^ "Who Do You Think You Are" does not appear on So Tough.
  • D^ "How We Used to Live" was released as a 5-track CD which was ineligible to chart in the UK. The #155 position is for sales of the eligible 3-track 12" single.

2008 Boxette Four-disc box set containing previous fan club-only releases: I Love to Paint, Built on Sand, Asleep at the Wheels of Steel. The fourth disc Eric Random contains songs released on various fan club EPs as well as five previously unreleased tracks.
2010 A Glimpse of Stocking Christmas compilation, including all previous fan-club Christmas EPs and 7 new songs. The CD was only available from the band's online shop and was sent to purchasers by the end of November 2010. There is a special edition including an exclusive personalized track featuring the purchasers name in the lyrics.

2009 Now 4 Four-track homemade and hand-numbered compilation. Only 72 copies were produced by Bob Stanley to thank the fans who helped him complete his "Now That's What I Call Music!" record collection. It contains "Gotta Jump" (the Xenomania version of b-side "Gotta Job"), "Back to 95", "Like A Motorway (japanese Version)" and "Soft Like Me (Li Dixon Red Corner Mix)".
2010 Re-Issue Roustabout 2-track CD single given away free at the Saint Etienne Reissue Roustabout Party at St Aloysius Church Hall on 8 octobre 2010. First track is "Milk Bottle Symphony (early version)" and second track is "Crying all the Way to the Terminal", a 1998 outtake.
2011 Xmas'11 EP Limited edition 7' single, featuring exclusive track "Santa's False teeth" and three songs from "A Glimpse of Stocking" ("No Cure for the Common Christmas", "Unwrap Me" and "Welcome Home"). A free CD version of the EP was given away to the band's 2011 Christmas party guests.[13]
