The Saifai Airport (Hindi: सैफई हवाई अड्डा) is an airstrip at Saifai village in Etawah District of Uttar Pradesh. This airstrip was defunct, but is being repaired during the government of the Samajwadi Party. It is used by small aircrafts.
Airlines and destinations
The airport has only unscheduled chartered flights.
Indian Air Force operation
In 2015, Mirage 2000 aircraft of Indian Air Force have been operating from the airstrip, testing grounds for possible development of this airport in case of emergency, like a war.[1]
About Saifai

Saifai is a village in the Etawah District of Uttar Pradesh. It is native place of Mulayam Singh Yadav founder president of Samajwadi Party, former Minister of Defence (India) & former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
