Sai Kiran is an Indian actor who works in the Telugu film industry. He was born on May 8, 1978 in Hyderabad. He made his début with the hit film Nuvve Kavali. This was followed by a string of successful films, including Preminchu, Manasunte Chaalu, Darling Darling, Satta. Preminchu won four Nandi Awards and Satta won the Best Film award. He has also worked in television serials, appearing as Hindu deities such as Krishna, Vishnu, and Venkateshwara, etc.

Saikiran has involved himself in many animal rescue organizations, including the Blue Cross of Hyderabad and Friends of Snakes Society.

He is engaged with a number of spiritually-related organisations.

He belongs to a famous family of singers: P. Susheela, the prominent South Indian playback singer, is his grandmother. His father, V. Ramakrishna,[2] was also a famous singer.

His later releases haven't performed as well at the box office. He did a film called Vengamamba[3] with Meena as the co-star, as well as a Tamil film called Ajanthaa. He also made Lemon, with Ilaiyaraaja providing music.

Saikiran recently wed a software specialist named Vyshnavi.[4] This marriage however created a furor over TV channels as the head priest of Tirumala, Ramana Dikshitulu[5] attended the wedding. This was unacceptable to many TV channels. Later the issue sorted out as it is believed that the priest was Saikiran's relative.

Saikirann lives in Hyderabad.
