SYSGO AG is a German company oriented in embedded software since its founding in 1991. The company is focused on the basic software building blocks (e.g. operating systems) for embedded systems used in critical environments such as aeroplanes, medical instruments or industrial automation. Key products are the real-time operating system PikeOS, which is certified to the highest safety and security standards, and the Embedded Linux distribution ELinOS.
SYSGO's headquarters are located at Am Pfaffenstein 14, Klein-Winternheim in Germany with offices in Ulm and Rostock. The company has subsidiaries in France (Paris), Czech Republic (Prague) and the U.S (Chicago).
In 2012, the company was acquired by the French group Thales.[1]
