The events are broadcasts through television agreements with Eurosport and other regional channels including in Canada and the United States.[1]

SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix I 2015 was a kickboxing event held by the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship on March 7, 2015 at the Sala Sporturilor Olimpia in Ploiești, Romania.[3]

Background

The promotion kicked off the 2015 in style with this first event of the year. The show began with a SUPERKOMBAT New Heroes undercard that looked to help them establish talent for future SUPERKOMBAT events. Over the years SK has developed quite a bit of talent that have made a splash on the world stage and this card serves as both a reminder and a sign of what is to come with the New Heroes fights. The main card featured many of the names that the promotion fans have grown to know and love, including: Clyde Brunswijk, D'Angelo Marshall, Bogdan Stoica, Amansio Paraschiv, Andrei Stoica and heavyweight bruiser Benjamin Adegbuyi.[3]

Hollywood actress Bai Ling was a special guest.[4]

      SUPERKOMBAT Special Edition Switzerland was a kickboxing event held by the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship on June 13, 2015 at the Umwelt Arena in Spreitenbach, Switzerland.[8]

      Background

      In Switzerland, the promotion presented their SUPERKOMBAT Special Edition event, headlined by Bogdan Stoica vs. Horace Martin in a title eliminator to earn a chance at the title. Originally slated to feature Benjamin Adegbuyi vs. Brian Douwes cooler heads prevailed and Adegbuyi did not fight a week after he fought Rico Verhoeven. Instead Daniel Sam stepped up to the plate.

      There was also a Heavyweight tournament featuring Nikolaj Falin, Enver Šljivar, Michal Reissinger and D'Angelo Marshall.[9]

          SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix IV 2015 was a kickboxing event held by the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship on August 1, 2015 at Piațeta Cazino in Mamaia, Romania. It was also the first SUPERKOMBAT event to be held outdoors in open-air.

          Background

          On August 1st SUPERKOMBAT presented one of their biggest cards of the year with the SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix IV. The event was headlined by Andrei Stoica vs. Fred Sikking for the promotion's Super Cruiserweight Championship. Some of the other big fights were Raul Cătinaș vs. Viktor Bugotzki, Bogdan Stoica vs. Fabio Kwasi and Atakan Arslan vs. Alex Filip.[11]

            SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix 2015 Final Elimination was a kickboxing event held by the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship on October 2, 2015 at Gran Teatro Linear4Ciak in Milan, Italy.[12]

            Background

            The New Heroes event served as the undercard featuring some up-and-comers. The real meat of the event happened on the main card that saw a main event between Cătălin Moroșanu vs. Tomasz Czerwiński. Both Stoica brothers and Amansio Paraschiv were in action. Raul Cătinaș was originally scheduled to fight Rustemi Kreshnik on this card but due to an injury to Kreshnik that fight has been pushed back.[13]

              Background

              The tournament for the evening was a heavyweight one and featured a few fine up-and-comers in the heavyweight division, including the much-hyped Roman Kryklia. The big bout of the evening was Andrei Stoica who defended his Super Cruiserweight title against Jorge Loren in what was being billed as a grudge match.[14]

              Half of the ticket sales of this event were donated to Colectiv nightclub fire victims.[15]
