The Georgian route S5 (also known as Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi) is one of the major trunk roads that runs from Tbilisi through Bakurtsikhe before reaching the border with Azerbaijan near Lagodekhi (Kakheti). The length is 160 kilometres (99 mi). The highway runs through Sagarejo and Tsnori. After crossing the border with Azerbaijan, the highway continues to Zaqatala and Yevlax.[1]
