Sørland is a fishing village and the administrative centre of Værøy municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the southern side of the island of Værøy. The village is the main population center of the island, and it is the location of Værøy Church, Værøy Heliport, and Værøy Lighthouse. The other village on the island is Nordland, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the north and the now-abandoned village of Mostad is located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the southwest.

The 0.96-square-kilometre (240-acre) village has a population (2013) of 584. The population density is 608 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,570/sq mi).[1] Sørland has ferry connections to Røstlandet, Bodø, and Sørvågen.
