The Ryan Round Barn was the first round barn in the U.S. state of Illinois listed on the National Register of Historic Places; it joined that list on New Year's Eve 1974. Though it is, indeed, a round barn, the Ryan Round Barn is not part of the round barns Multiple Property Submission for Illinois. This round barn is located about six miles north of the city of Kewanee, Illinois in Johnson-Sauk Trail State Park.
The barn features a display of antique farm machinery and implements, and is open to visitors seasonally.
