Ryan Gardner (born April 18, 1978) is a Canadian-born Canadian-Swiss professional ice hockey Forward, who currently plays for HC Fribourg-Gottéron in Swiss National League A (NLA). He formerly played with HC Ambrì-Piotta, HC Lugano, ZSC Lions and SC Bern and has represented Switzerland internationally at the IIHF World Championships and 2014 Winter Olympics.
At the conclusion of the 2014–15 season, on April 2, 2015, Gardner was traded by SC Bern to HC Fribourg-Gottéron in exchange for Timo Helbling.[1]
