Ryan James Ferns is an American politician from the state of West Virginia. He is a member of the West Virginia Senate.

Ferns was first elected in 2010, as a member of the Democratic Party. He switched his allegiance to the Republican Party in November 2013. In 2014, he beat Democrat Rocky Fitzsimmons in an election to the West Virginia Senate.[1]

Ferns is a physical therapist.[1] He was arrested for drunk driving in 2012.[2][3][4]
